Cielo Evolution

So our new stroller came yesterday! Weird how you get excited about a new stroller once your a mom...I never would have thought....

Well anyway, we decided to get a more travel-friendly stroller since our normal Graco stroller takes up the whole back of my car. We decided on the Mia Moda Cielo Evolution. Fancy name, eh?

We were thinking of getting an umbrella stroller, but decided on this instead for the following reasons:
  • It can still be steered and pushed with 1 hand, which umbrella strollers generally cannot.
  • It folds up compactly, but is still a good sized stroller that will fit our kids until they are toddlers. Not that they will let us stick them in strollers when they're toddlers, but hey. There's the option.
  • It has a fancy name.
  • It was on sale.
  • It has a cup holder and little basket/bag for holding miscellaneous items like the diaper bag and a little blanket. Maybe even a Slanket.
  • It reclines a bit.
  • It has arm rests.
  • It fits easily in trains, planes and automobiles. Naturally, we like our baby gear to comply with the names of movies so this was a major deciding factor.
Mike had a grand ol' time opening it and closing it, opening it, closing it, then opening it and closing it and putting it in it's handy storage bag. He's practicing so as to be able to impress people with his skillz.

Mad skillz.

So no picture of Mike actually doing the opening and closing and where'd you get the kid for the picture? and the Mom for that matter?

Sounds like a huge fraud and that you will be schleping the old Graco to Boston!

Ha! Yep, that's the plan...to fool everyone!

You don't recognize me and Sky in that picture? What kind of father-in-law/grandpa are you?

I want to see this bad boy in action. And then, I might have to get one.

It's not as small as I thought it would be, but it's still almost half as big as my Graco one when it's folded up. I have all sorts of space in my trunk now!
