Easter Egg Hunt!

Easter was a big hit this year. Sky and Harp LOVED it! They had multiple egg hunts, a fun time at church and special prizes in their Easter baskets Sunday morning. More to come on that in another post.

The first egg hunt was Saturday morning at the church. Harper spent most of her time collecting dirt and bark. She thought it was amazing and she would not be bothered to collect eggs, so Sky collected a few for her.

She also thought the grass was cool. We really need a yard with grass...

Sky had a GREAT time collecting eggs! She buddied up with Laney and they both made a nice haul. Sky wore all of her favorite things to help her "find the most eggs."

Crew emptied all his candy into his basket and dumped the empty eggs. He did not mess around.

 Laney also adopted the candy dump technique. Harper's bucket ended up holding all the empty eggs, so Harp looked like a hoarder. She had no idea where all those eggs had come from!

This was Kadie's basket about 8 minutes into the hunt! The kid's a pro!

Harper was probably munching on a piece of bark in this photo. Or a hair. Definitely not candy--she didn't figure out the whole these-eggs-are-full-of-candy! thing until Sunday morning.

Thanks, Leisa, for inviting us to the Egg Hunt! It really was a fun time. Even though Mike got put on time out for stealing eggs from the other kids.
