18 Months Old!

Harper officially turned 18 months old today! You know what that means.

Nursery!

But it also means she is half-done with being a one-year-old. Incredible.

Harper is so much fun. She never stops moving and loves to do things independently, but she is a mama's girl as soon as anything goes wrong. She is so busy! And she definitely looks up to her big sister (who is now "Dy" once again).

Harp is starting to experiment with words. I went from being Mama to Dada to now Baba. She says "nana" for banana, (which may very well be her favorite food. She can down a whole nana in under a minute, easy) and tries to say "all done."

She has "yeah!" down and can do some mean animal impressions. Her cat can fool even the most seasoned vet. She can sign quite a lot of words, but it's fun that she is picking up on the idea of talking.

The kid loves to smile and wow, she loves to eat! Aw, a girl after my own heart. She LOVES to sing and dance. Her dancing is hilarious. Much spinning and arm flailing is involved.

Harper is also very destructive. While putting her to bed tonight I discovered that she is part beaver. She is literally eating her crib. (Pictures someday.)

I am so in love with this tiny girl! Way to be awesome, Harper. Keep your head up, half-pint; short people find the best hiding places, and Baba's always got your back!
