First Snowfalls of the Season

Snow has made it's way back to Reno. We woke up to this on Saturday:

As is Reno's style, it warmed up enough for most of the snow in our yard to melt away by mid-afternoon the same day. Then we woke up to about twice that amount on Sunday (which I realize still isn't very much snow.) Then that melted away. It's back today, though--off and on.

All day Skylar has been reporting the snowfall to me. "Mommy, it's back! The snow is falling!" and then 15 minutes later, "It's gone now. No more snow right now, Mommy. It ran away." Another 10 minutes later: "Snow! Hey, you're back!"

Kids definitely bring out the fun of winter!
